A lot of people wonder what it would be like if you parent was a teacher, would it be awkward? Weird? Cool? Fun? Let me tell you it was all of those things.

Here are some things you can relate to:

1. You were never late to school, hell some days you were even early

Saying this would get you smacked

2. If you had homework, there was no way you forgot to do it

3. Your mom was always checking papers at home and was NOT to be disturbed

4. You made sure to not get into trouble at school

5. You had an account at the canteen

Yay food all the time!

6. You’d always have a ride to school

7. If your mom made fun things for arts and crafts you’d also get some cool things

8. You got ALOT of help on projects and always got the highest marks… Thanks mom

9. Kids who didn’t like your mom would let you know about it

10. You’d always get to go to school a week earlier to help your mom set up the class room

11. You sometimes knew about the drama that would happen in the staff rooms

12. Sometimes in school you were referred to as so and so’s son/daughter

13. Sometimes your mom would call the teachers over for a lunch or dinner and nothing could have been more awkward for you

14. You were the first to know if schools were closed because of a strike or not and were tasked with telling your friends

So having your mom as a teacher in school did kinda suck but it wasn’t that bad!
