Two California twins, both born around midnight on New Year’s eve, have birthdays a year apart.
Baby girl Jaelyn arrived on December 31, 2015 with exactly one minute to spare — at 11:59 p.m. — and her brother Luis was born at 12:02 a.m. on January 1, 2016. A New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day baby — what could be luckier?
The family initially had a cesarean section scheduled for Jan. 6, but doctors called Maribel, the mother of the twins, in because one of the babies was in a breech position.
The twins have an older sister called Isabella.
The twins, along with their Mother Maribel, are said to be healthy and happy. Their Dad, Luis, called it a New Year’s blessing to have two healthy children.
