For the role in the movie Machinist Christian Bale had to lose 27kgs in four months! He did it by restricting his diet to black coffee, apples and sometimes tuna.

Boney Kapoors son once weighed a 140 kgs. He lost all his weight through diet and exercise, mainly doing crossfit.
3. Rani Mukherji
She once got a lot of criticism for gaining weight and being out of shape. To get back into shape she followed a healthy diet and did 2 hours of power yoga a day!
4. Drew Barrymore
Drew Barrymore has gone through a lot of problems including drug addiction and alcohol issues. And then, she had serious weight problems smack in the middle of her career! To get back on track, she ran 5 miles three times a week, went to boot camp and started doing power yoga!
5. Alia Bhat
Coming into Bollywood Alia was a little chubby. She lost 16kgs only by working out! She worked out six days a week, including cardio, weight training, kick boxing and running on a treadmill. Yikes!
6. Sonakshi Sinha
Sonakshi weighed 90kgs when she entered Bollywood. To lose all her weight for the movie Dabbang, she went on a healthy diet and would go to the gym 5 times a week, along with doing yoga to get into shape. Look at her now! WOW.
7. Jake Gyllenhaal
To get in shape for his upcoming movie “Southpaw” Jake would work out six hours a day. Three hours boxing and then three hours strength and conditioning. He would do 2000 sit ups a day. I just… can’t even… wow!
8. Ranveer Singh
Ranveer Singh is known for his abs and good looks. It isn’t easy to get a body like that. For Ranveer to achieve this physique he would do a 45 minute High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout, and he coupled that with a diet which included eating lots of eggs and fruits.
