Black holes are known to suck things in and not blow things out
But for the first time something strange happened in black-hole Markarian 335. So what happened? Well scientist are still trying to figure it out, but it looks like the black holes corona ‘launching’ away from its center. Then, leaving a massive pulse of X-ray energy.
Dan Wilkins of Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Canada said :
“This is the first time we have been able to link the launching of the corona to a flare,”
“This will help us understand how supermassive black holes power some of the brightest objects in the universe.”
