Mohammad Amir was born on 13 April 1992. Amir is a left-arm fast bowler, who made his international debut at 17; he opened the bowling in all formats of the game. He made his first-class debut in 2007, and his first One-Day International and Test appearance in 2009 in Sri Lanka, at the age of 17. He played his first international match during the 2009 ICC World Twenty20, where he played in every game, helping the national side win the tournament. He became the youngest bowler to take 50 wickets at the age of 18.
Life took a turn for Amir when he bowled deliberate no-balls in a Test at Lord’s. In February 2011 he was handed a five-year ban following investigations by an ICC tribunal. He pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced to six months in prison, but was released after serving half the sentence.
Mohammad Amir apologized to the nation and made a successful comeback in January in 2016, his performance in the latest world t20 was a treat to watch and he won his fans again with his hard work and passion, which was delivered in the game.
