Hoverboard Pilot Sets A New Guinness World Record

The man who invented the jet-powered Flyboard Air, Franky Zapata sets a new Guinness World Record for the farthest hoverboard flight; he had to fly 280 meters to break the record.

He flew the hoverboard for 2,252 meters (7,388 feet) on 30 April off the coast of Sausset-les-Pins in the south of France.

Zapata became famous on the internet last month after a video of him flying the Flyboard Air went viral.

Zapata has now set the new Guinness World Record.
