Geoff Gaylord, a 37-year-old man living in Florida Jacksonville committed a heinous crime; he murdered his friend of seven years.
He described the brutal murder to the officers, describing how he repeatedly stabbed the victim with a kitchen knife and buried him in the backyard.
Apparently, Mr Geoff had turned himself in and was looking to get the death penalty, but the officers couldn’t give it to him. Why? Because Mr Geoff murdered his imaginary friend ‘Mr Happy’.
The reasons stated for killing ‘Mr Happy’ were,
His room was a mess all the time with his toys and dolls. He left his empty vodka bottles all over the kitchen… never picked up his empty cocaine baggies and left the toilet seat down when he peed. He messed up my apartment to the point where I just couldn’t get it clean. Before Hap started doing drugs and acting weird he was my BFF. We’d go dancing, plan on the children’s park equipment, both huge fans of doom metal- listened to it for hours with the lights turned off.
Geoff said the final straw was when ‘Mr Happy’ crashed Geoff’s car and Mr Geoff got blamed for the car crash.
These are some reactions to the incident,
RIP, Mr Happy! http://t.co/Zay5ez9tzH

@Josue_can I hate it when my imaginary friend leaves vodka bottles and cocaine baggies everywhere, but I'd never kill him for it!!
