Four month old Nora Hall had suffered a stroke a month ago which crippled her nervous system and shut down her brain. She is essentially in a coma.
The problem is that the longer Nora stays alive it’s more likely she’ll have organ failure or another stroke that could take her life. During this difficult time, the family dogs have become an unlikely source of support. The dogs have not left Nora’s side.
The dogs are clearly stressed and sad, and Noras parents didn’t send them away because they would get ever more stressed.
The family has decided to let Nora go because she can not breathe by her self. Taking her off life support would be the most harmless way to let her pass in peace.
It is a very difficult time for the family, our thoughts and prayers are with them.
