Everyone in this world wants to be happy but what we don’t realise is that being happy is not difficult. You don’t need to do big things to be happy. Here’s a list of simple things you can do for instant happiness:
Even if you don’t feel like it, laugh and smile. Just do it. Smiling releases a fury of Endorphins that automatically work to better your mood. And when you look at this hunk and don’t feel happy, there is something wrong with you!
2. Go for a Walk
If something isn’t going well at work or home, step outside and take a walk. It doesn’t have to be long, but a quick stroll will help you get fresh air and clear your mind.
Meditation is a great way to unwind and strengthen the relationship between your mind and body.
4. Take a break
Taking a break from monotonous routine lifts up your mood.
5. Do something new, something different
Try something new. Learn a new skill, try a new dish, wear a new color, try a new fragrance – change something. It doesn’t have to be a drastic change.
Nothing beats the feeling of helping others. Be a part of an organisation or perform a little act of kindness and you will feel happy!
7. Sing out loud
Sing in the shower, in your room, in the car – Sing anywhere! But sing out loud and you will definitely feel better.

Chocolates make people happy. It’s a fact!
9. Listen to a happy song
This is the easiest and quickest mood-lifter!
Physical activity get’s your body up and about with hormones, specifically adrenaline, that can only help you get into good mood. Feeling healthy and fit can do wonders on a sour day. Even 7 minutes of exercise will do the deal.
11. Take a hot shower
Hot shower gets your blood warm and flowing while relaxing your body and mind.
12. Watch your favourite movie
Well, not a sad favourite movie. Watch your happy favourite movie. It will make you feel better.
13. Spend time with friends and family
When you are surrounded by people who love you, you feel happy and calm.
14. Make a list of everything good in your life
It’s important to appreciate the good in your life and to be grateful for all the blessings you have. Counting your blessing and the good in you life makes you feel happier.
15. Take a nap
When everything fails, fall asleep. If you’re having a hard time getting your mind off things, reset with a power nap.
16. Just know – EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE OKAY!
Tell yourself everything’s going to be okay and you will see that everything will eventually be okay!
